Now that Spring has arrived, I can’t wait for the longer days, showers, May flowers! Time to emerge from your winter hibernation!
If you’re anything like me, you enjoy lounging about, sipping hot beverages (preferably, coffee!), marathoning TV shows or movies, and generally unwinding. Savor the cozy way of living.
However, the weather here, or nearly here, is now warmer (depending on where you reside).

Experts also claim that this year’s trends-such as the disco decadence of sequins and the resurgence of elementary school mainstays like bows and preppy polos-follow the same pattern, but with a hint more humor.

What will we wear this year, then? We anticipate going a little darker in maroon this spring, even thou vibrant red, one of our favorite winter trends, will still be seen in plenty on the streets.  (Don’t worry if your hoping for brighter sky in the future, dazzling blue is also trendy.)  Additionally, we advise investing in a sequined top, ballet flats with a leopard print, or a fringed jacket if you need an excuse appear a little more daring.

Perhaps timeless items are a better buy.  Individuals want to experiment with classic elements or extravagance rather than just safe, bland minimalism in shades of beige.

Maybe a better investment would be timeless things.  Instead of settling for bland possibly safer simplicity, people are open to experimenting with more classic forms of grace or luxury.

Fringe, welcome back to the zeitgeist! Thou the term “boho” may make you nostalgic for 2013, fear not-fringe is experiencing a high end come-back this year.

Following red’s major autumn/winter fashion moment, our favorite spring ensembles are taking a darker turn.  The color, sometimes known as oxblood, burgundy, or maroon is the moodier sibling of red.

This years, bows, rosettes, ruffles and lace are still popular among designers.  Put on your most romantic dress or flowy skirt, accessories it  with a hair bow with a flowy choker and start receiving comments.

Thou we never expected to say it, let us tell you something: Statement belts are stylish.  They were saved this season from their ten- year imprisonment in the fashion industry by Ferragamo and Tom Ford, demonstrating that a sophisticated ensemble can be elevated with an addition of a striking item.  When dressed to impress, wear one with a dress or a pair of wide-leg jeans.

Although sandals are a must for each spring outfit, a startling array of peep-toe types were shown on the runways this season. There was a unanimous agreement, whether it was for traditional pumps or thong sandals: you’ll need to keep up your pedicure game come spring.

The preppy appearance has given rise to high-visibility stripes, which are a major trend this season.  But they look stylish and effortless whether you wear them as a loose sweater or a shirtdress.

So take pleasure in the fashion trends and your spring cleaning, and have a wonderful spring!
